How to use TickDown

1. Open TickDown from the Canva editor.
2. On the Date & time tab, pick a target date and time in the future.
3. Optional: set a title, its color and size, the unit label language (Content tab), and counter/background colors (Appearance tab).
4. Click Add animated countdown. After a few seconds of processing, the countdown is added to your design and starts ticking.
5. To refresh the numbers later, select the countdown element and click Update animation.

Common questions

The countdown numbers look outdated. The animation shows the remaining time as of when it was created. Select the element and click Update animation to refresh it.

The animation stops after a while. Countdowns are generated as 60-second loops; in most designs they repeat automatically.

Adding fails with an error. Please try again in a minute. If the problem continues, contact us.
